10 Anni di Black History Month Florence: Una Celebrazione è una mostra dedicata all'archivio del Black History Month Florence e una festa per celebrare un decennio di programmazione e costruzione della comunità. Co-fondato nel 2016 da Justin Randolph Thompson e Andre Halyard, in collaborazione con Andrea Mi, l'iniziativa ha organizzato quasi 500 eventi nei suoi dieci anni di storia. Collegando un tessuto culturale di istituzioni e individui, e ispirando iniziative del Black History Month in diverse città italiane, Black History Month Florence è il primo Black History Month in Italia. La serata sarà accompagnata da un concerto acustico con Justin Randolph Thompson, Marzia Da Luz Ramos Duarte, Gilson Cesar e ospiti speciali, e si trasformerà in una cena sociale di raccolta fondi con cucina eritrea ed etiope a cura di Mulugeta Muffi Amanuel (prenotazione consigliata, 20€ donazione minima).

10 Years of Black History Month Florence: A Celebration is an exhibition dedicated to the archive of Black History Month Florence and a party to celebrate a decade of programming and community building. Co-founded in 2016 by Justin Randolph Thompson, and Andre Halyard in collaboration with Andrea Mi, the initiative has hosted nearly 500 events in its ten years of history. Connecting a cultural fabric of institutions and individuals and inspiring Black History Month initiatives in multiple Italian cities, Black History Month Florence is the first Black History Month in Italy. The evening is accompanied by an acoustic concert with Justin Randolph Thompson, Marzia Da Luz Ramos Duarte, Gilson Cesar and special guests and will transform into a social fundraising dinner with Eritrean and Ethiopian cuisine by Mulugeta Muffi Amanuel (reservation suggested, 20€ minimum contribution).
